Software Architecture

Wow, that’s what architecture is… It’s too bad that the commercial world is so slow to pick up on ‘real’ architecture.

The architecture that we discussed in class was significantly more abstract than most of the architectures that I have been exposed to in the commercial world. This is another class for which you should be careful to do your homework early. The first assignment is the big one and the deliverable is (physically) heavy (which is actually kind of satisfying).

While I haven’t had much chance to apply this material to industry software projects, I often use the concepts to organize my thoughts.
